TCMPAC is a non-profit professional organization for fully trained traditional Chinese medicine physicians. TCMPAC not only serves as a foundation for affiliating physicians of traditional Chinese medicine, but also strives to re-evaluate and maintain a high level of international standards of the profession, while promoting the practice of TCM nationally. Individuals with training in various modalities of traditional Chinese medicine are also invited to become a member with TCMPAC.

TCMPAC strives to unite traditional Chinese medicine physicians. As a body, the association promotes the character and status of the profession, and of ethical practice. It will act to maintain and improve the qualifications and standards of the profession, and to settle questions of professional usage and courtesy among members of the association. The association will share information for the mutual benefit of members, and will represent and advocate the interests of its members in matters pertaining to the recognition of traditional Chinese medicine training within Canada. Continuing education in traditional Chinese medicine to health professionals within Canada will also be provided.
